Specialty Faucet Add-on Charges :
* Widespread Faucet Replacements add-on
For Moen and Delta widespread faucets, meaning that instead of a single faucet body, there are three or more separate faucet bodies interconnected by hoses, there is a Widespread add-on charge (add $25 more for non-Moen or Delta faucets): $99.00
* Grinding add-on charge
In recent years, a few lower quality sink faucet manufacturers have substituted what were previously only brass washters and nuts with lower quality steel or pot-metal washers and nuts. This sometimes results in frozen nuts below the countertop. Should substantial grinding be required to remove an old faucet due to frozen nuts below the countertop, there will be a "grinding add-on charge." Grinding charge is $99 (grinding) +$49 (cleanup). $148.00

'Old Style' Delta Shower Rebuild Charges:
** Old Style Delta Shower Valve Rebuild Costs

Older Delta shower faucets manufactured in 1993 or earlier, can usually be repaired and rebuilt, but due to the extra parts and labor required to rebuild such older valves, we normally charge an additional $85.00 above the regular rebuild price for such rebuilds. Such models can be identified by one of the following four traits:

  1. A single handle valve with a handle that tilts away from the wall to adjust flow strength, and rotates left or right to adjust temperature. This is a 600 series valve.
  2. A single handle valve with a handle that does not tilt, but only rotates, and where the screws holding down the main large trim plate are located in the 5 o'clock and the 7 o'clock positions around the main handle. This is a 1600 series valve.
  3. A single handle style valve, but with a separate smaller dial or lever for temperature adjustment. If the temperature dial is either black or gray, then this is an older 1500 series valve. (If the temperature adjuster has a non-plastic finish, then it is a newer 1700 series valve.)
  4. A two handle Delta shower valve.
(additional) $85.00
